A gift of history to those who love history!

The true test of intelligence is the ability to make a summary. A one page (albeit a big page) summary of all of history. Amazing. I keep a framed version of this by my desk as a reference when I write or read. It is a combination chart and accompanying guidebook to the chart. Perfect gift!

Amazing map, nothing special about the book though.

This is a fantastic book when it comes with the map! It's the first map I've seen of its kind... it shows time/space of the largest empires in the world. Without the map though this is just a moderately interesting read, but you can find it all for free on Wikipedia. Still haven't seen the map anywhere else though.

Excellent timeline, itty bitty print

Excellent timeline LOADED with information, but seriously tiny print. Like smaller than a cold medicine label in the middle of the night in dim light. Be prepared with a magnifying glass, your readers won't cut it. Even still, I love this timeline.
